Endre Tót: LAYOUTS

This screen print portfolio by Endre Tót contains a selection of eight serigraphs from his Layout paintings made between 1988 and 1991, signed and numbered by the artist. Until their debut exhibition at acb Gallery in 2019, the pieces of the Layout cycle were completely unknown to the broader public. The rediscovery of these works marks a turning point in the reception of Tót’s painting oeuvre and his conceptual practice dealing with the themes of absence and emptiness.

The works to be reproduced as screen prints were selected by acb Gallery in collaboration with the artist.

Made in 2021 in 35 numbered copies. 30 portfolios are numbered 1-30; the remaining 5 portfolios are at the artist’s disposal, numbered I-V. All sheets are signed by the artist himself.
