The Under Construction exhibition introduces works by János Korodi that depict architectural spaces.  In Korodi's compositions, the light that illuminates the enormous halls of industrial buildings plays a central role.  The rays of sun infiltrating through the windows, and the surfaces exposed by the strong light are rich and vibrant elements of the paintings.  Strict geometrical forms are typical to Korodi's works, although creating these lit surfaces brings in a playful dealing with colors, that may be familiar from the 1980's new paintings.
