Klaudia Januško
Too Hot To Handle︱Online beszélgetés Nemes Z. Márióval
The following conversation was recorded on Monday, March 17th, at 7 PM in connection with Klaudia Januško's solo exhibition Too Hot To Handle. It was streamed live on Twitch from acb Attachment, the venue hosting the exhibition.
During the hour-and-a-half-long event and interactive livestream, poet, critic, and aesthete Márió Z. Nemes, who also teaches at the Department of Aesthetics at ELTE and researches the aesthetics of contemporary video games, spoke with the exhibiting artist.
During the evening, they jointly presented, among other things, video games whose female action-hero protagonists also serve as the central figures in Januško's new paintings. The discussion also touched on cyberfeminism, Romantic landscape painting, and the artist’s experiences during her creative residency in Iceland.
