Agnes Denes is presented at Art Düsseldorf 2025, represented by acb Gallery. With its growing focus on Central and Eastern European art, the fair provides a fitting platform for Denes’s globally relevant and future-oriented artistic vision.
Born in Budapest and based in New York, Denes is a pioneer of conceptual and ecological art. Her practice brings together mathematics, philosophy, and cartography to explore space, logic, and human responsibility.
From the iconic Pyramids and Map Projections series to the large-scale land art project Tree Mountain, her works challenge how we think about the world—and our future within it.
