Zoltán Ádám
Fictional gypsy buildings
Venue: | acb Gallery |
Date: | Jan 20 – Feb 24, 2006 |
Description
In the past years, Zoltán Ádám exhibited at acb Gallery figurative paintings (portraits of gipsies) as well. The paintings, drawings, etchings, and sculptures belonging to his new cycle represent portraits and fictional buildings of gipsies once more. The eclectic ruins he depicts have never existed, they seem to be some kind of visions. The surreal creations of Zoltán Ádám represent the fictional cultural heritage of an ethnic group.
